Probably early to mid C17. Red brick. About 9 ft square. Early brickwork
largely survives to about 8 ft high. Later brickwork above this for an equal
height. Sham timber-framing above this, probably late C19 or early C20, with
hipped slate roof and spire. A former conduit house to Great Nelmes (now
demolished); a water 'tank' filling the below ground land space. The early
brickwork has small round headed brick openings on the north-east and south-west
faces.
