House. Early 19th Century. Brick. but fronted in stucco and painted. Slate mansard roof. Two storeys and attic, three windows. Original sashes, attic casements. Door with six glass panels and rectangular light over. Doric porch with cast iron columns. Cornice and parapet. Attached studio to right formed c1908 by the artist Frank Brangwyn. Full height pilasters flank a central entrance with tiled porch; at 1st floor level, a 10-light studio window. Here Brangwyn painted his most important works and entertained distinguished international guests.
