Small 2-storey house probably originally built as garden house to Mawson's
Arms (1 and 2/150). Red brick with yellow infilling. Re-roofed, probably
in early C19 in Welsh slate, hipped. Ground floor - 4 pilasters in red
brick, 2 at ends and 2 flanking central doorway, the latter with 8 small
brick panels, the upper of which is continuous with the capitals. 2 windows,
flush frames, flat gauged brick arches inset in yellow brick infilling
between the pilasters, glazing bars, original to 1 window, the other C19
replacements. 3 red brick panels above the windows and door. Early C19
door, 2 flat panels below glazing bars. Block semi-circular fanlight.
String course above the ground floor. Upper storey, possibly added in
the early C19, has 3 blank recessed panels, the centre of which has had
a modern window cut in. Gable wall to road partly rebuilt. A 3-light
C19 sash has been inserted and a ground floor carriage entrance blocked.
Brick steps to cellar. Brick herringbone pathway. Interior - 2 ground
floor rooms. Single upper room with moulded panels has been sub-divided.
