Early C18. Brown brick. Hipped old tile roof with parapet. 8 double-hung
sashes in surrounds, mainly with original glazing bars and with cambered
relieving arches. Door surround of narrow panels with consoles and open
pediment. RH C19 ground floor, LH C18 1st floor splayed wooden oriel on
2 cast iron brackets. 5 double-hung sashes divided by narrow pilasters;
panels beneath windows; dentil cornice, wrought iron railing to balcony
roof. South elevation has 1st floor C18 semi-octagonal wooden oriel.
Reconstructed partially 1905. Remains of alledged Smugglers' tunnel in
cellar.
