Building of early C18 appearance. 2 storeys and attic, 5 windows. Fairly
high pitched tiled roof with 3 gabled dormers having old leaded casements.
Other windows C19 small-paned casements, those on ground floor under cambered
arches. Short wings running back at either side to form shallow, inverted
U-shape, similar to the old workhouse, Eastcote. Graded partly for historical
reasons, as an early example of a workhouse.
