C16 house with alterations and additions largely concealing its character from
the outside. 2 storeys, 3 bays. High pitched roof, with swept eaves, renewed
in modern tiles. Later end chimneys. Walls roughcast. Modern leaded casement
windows. Central projecting oversailing gabled 1st floor bay on moulded beam.
Inside centre section shows heavy, good quality timber work including one large
beam with tongued chamfer. Side purlin roof with thick wind braces. The outer
bays are less clear; left bay may be older and right front bay is a later addition.
