C18 house, altered and enlarged C19., Brown brick with red dressings. 3 storeys,
5:3 double hung sashes with flat arches. Pilasters at angles running through
1st and 2nd storeys. Left hand 2-storey splayed bay; right hand C19 stone
porch, cement finished 2nd storey, with parapet. Cornice, modern blue pantiles.
Inside, decorations have survived from mid C18. On 1st floor, rooms to north-east
and south-east have original panelling; one has a box cornice and the other
a chimney piece with marble inserts. Similar chimney-piece and panelling in
ground floor south-east room; and in south-west room decorative plasterwork
and a later marble fireplace of good quality.
