No 30. Third quarter of C18 with alterations. Imposing 5-bay house of
2 storeys, attic and sunk basement. One and a half storey projecting right
extension (possibly once coach house) and 2-storey blank addition slightly set
back behind this, No 30 is 3 left bays of original house.
No 30A is 2 right bays and extensions. Slated mansard roof extended at right.
4 square dormers sashes with glazing bars. Brown brick with stone coped parapet.
Stone cornice band; and open pediment over slightly projecting centre section.
Brick quoins to this and to angles. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash
windows with glazing bars (mostly replaced). lst floor centre window has
eared moulded architrave with triple keystone. Gibbs surround to reproduction
6-panel door with moulded cornice head and plain fanlight. Triple keystone
also. Right ground floor window replaced by door of 6 fielded panels in
panelled reveal with moulded architrave. Plain rectangular fanlight. Front
extension has lunette in upper wall and 1 sash window, flanked by round windows,
on return.

Nos 28 to 36A (even) form a group.
