Mid C19 terrace. Each house 2 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Left
bay projects under gable. Moderately low pitched slate roof with eaves
soffit. Multicoloured stock brick. Stuccoed basement, blank but
for window under balcony. Gauged brick arches and bracketed cills to sash
windows, that on 1st floor left round arched and on ground floor 3-light.
10 steps up to balcony on cast iron columns along ground floor to right of
gabled part. Patterned cast iron railing. Balcony partly screened, and
roof supported, by decorative cast iron work. 4 panel door with plain
fanlight, and, at right, long casement window with transom, lead off
balcony.

Nos 4 to 11 (consec) and Nos 14 to 18 (consec) form a group.
