Pair of houses. 1845. Two storeys plus attic storey and basement. Brick with stucco
dressings. The pair form a symmetrical 4-bay composition with the centre 2 bays
projecting and framed by Corinthian giant pilasters (a pair on the party division)
carrying an entablature with modillion cornice and pediment; the flanking entrance bays
with cornice and blocking. Architraves to windows. Projecting porches to doors. Later
attic window to No 43. Iron boundary railings. (Survey London, Vol XXXVII).
