Symmetrical pair of large dwelling houses. Early 1880's. J T Smith. Free French
Renaissance. Gault brick with elaborate stucco dressings. Four storeys plus roof
storey and basement. Each 2 bay windows to Cornwall Gardens, the outer segmental the
inner squared, both rising 3 storeys. Third floor windows arched and paired with
shafting. Cornice to eaves. Tall slated mansard roof to each house, with iron-work
finials. Return and rear elevations also of interest. Area railings.
