Terrace of houses. 1857-9. C J Freake builder-architect. Four storeys plus attics and
basement. Stucco. Each house 3 windows wide. Doric porches to ground floor, first
floor Ionic order, second floor Corinthian, with pediments. Frieze with swags
between. Balustrades to first and second floor balconys, and to parapet of No 17.
Dentiled and modillioned conrice. End houses advanced with rusticated quoins iron area
railings. (SURV. LONDON XXXVIII).
