Pair of houses. Late C19. Brick. Dutch style. Situated opposite Nos 35 to 45. No 24
has 3 similar gables with pediments. Three storeys and basement. Mullion and transom
windows with leaded lights. Ground floor has large bay window with 14 lights. Arched
recessed porch, with carved brick panel over. No 24 has right hand return with
segmental pediment. No 26 has one gable, Flemish in outline with cambered pediment and
shell headed niches. Four storeys. Ground floor has 2 polygonal bay window with
leaded semi-domed roofs, and stone mullions and transoms. Recessed arched entrances,
and carved brick panel over.
