Pair of houses. Mid C19. Yellow brick and slated roof with gables. Two storeys plus
basement. Architecturally undistinguished and considerably altered. Listed as
residence of Sir Winston Churchill, from 1945 until his death in 1965. No 27 provided
office accommodation for his staff.
