Good quality pair dated 1822 on plaque with name: BEDFORD BUILDINGS. Each
3 storeys and basement; 2 windows, the outer in set back entrance bay. Stock
brick with stone cornice and blocking course, ground and first floor bands in
main block. Finely gauged brick arches to sash windows in stucco-lined reveals,
those on ground moor in wide, elliptical arched recesses. Four-panel doors
flanked by Doric half-columns with wide fanlight over. Nine steps with wrought
iron handrails.
