Lodge to 'Elderwood'. 1887 dated on a lintel. Irregular building of 2 storeys,
3 bays with one-storey left porch. Stock brick with dressings of red brick,
stone and stucco. Hipped slated roof with moulded and coved pebble-dashed eaves
cornice broken in 2 places by baroque gable ends over first floor windows.
Moulded and transomed casements with elaborate stucco lintels under relieving
arches. Red brick first floor string becomes cornice of open porch whose roof
rests on 3 balusters on half-wall at left; at right a wrought-iron gate.
