The following building was de-listed on 8th December 1997.

Church of St Saviour with
St Andrew
TQ 3275 19/467 13.3.81


1886-7 by A D Gough. Large church of random rubble in crazy-paving style with
freestone dressings and slated roof. Nave with separately-roofed aisles, chancel
with apsidal east end and side chapes; that on south has returned gable paired
with a south transept gable. Tower of 5 steps has pyramidal fishscale slated roof with
lucarnes. Circa 1200 transitional style with some round and some pointed arches,
plenty of chevron mouldings and some plate tracery at east end. Round south-west
angle turret to tower. Elaborate entrances with 3 orders of nook-shafts, those
of main west portal in coloured marble.
