Late C18, two pairs. Each house three-storeys and basement, two windows. Nos
163 and 165 are wider. Stock brick with stone-coped parapet. Nos 167 and 169
have slated mansard with dormers; round-headed to No 169. Segmental brick window
arches except on ground and first floor of Nos 167 and 169 which are gauged and
flat above, round below in arcading with stuccoed impost band. Nos 163 and 165
have projecting single-storey canted bays, that of No 163 stuccoed with dentil
cornice and both with hipped leaded roofs. Doors of four fielded and two beaded
panels. No 163 has fluted architrave and No 165 plain; oblong fanlights and bracketed
cornice hoods. Wrought iron handrails to steps. Other doors have radial fanlights,
fluted side pilasters and wrought iron rails to bridges over areas.
