Early-mid C19 pair, each 3 storeys and high basement, 2 windows. Stock brick
with parapet, large proportions. Stuccoed basement and ground floor whose banded
rustications form voussoirs to round-arched doorways. Gauged flat brick arches
to sash windows with glazing bars. Five steps to 4-panel doors in deep reveals
holding engaged fluted Doric columns, cornice head and segmental fanlight. Long
first foor windows with ornamental cast iron balconies on projecting cills. Cast
iron area railings with palmette standards.
