Weavers' Almshouses

1859, by Joseph Jennings. Jacobean style, 2-storeys. Central block and symmetrical
flanking wings. Yellow stock brick. Painted stone dressings. Slated roof.
The central block has a timber clock turret, an arched entrance flanked by canted
bay windows. The central 1st floor window has a segmental pediment with cartouche.
Rusticated quoins and ornamental chimneystacks. The wings have plain plinths
and strings. The windows have simple architraves. The clustered brick chimneystacks
are linked by arches. Modern rear extension and entrance "lodges".
