GV II

Offices, formerly superintendent's house 1865: Bazalgette. 2 storeys, 3 windows
wide. Yellow brick with red brick and stone dressings. Slated roof. Round headed
openings to recessed sash windows with finely gauged red and white brick voussoirs.
Banded course to ground floor. Gabled central entrance doorway. First floor windows
break eaves to form three pedimented gables. Square cast iron rainwater pipes flank
doorway and central bay. Thin chimney stacks with corbelled caps to either side.
Contemporary flank and rear extensions. Listed chiefly for group value with main
pumping station.
