Snuff Mills (Eastern block)

Eastern block of former snuff mill. Circa 1800 or earlier. Brick to ground
floor; painted weatherboarding to upper storey. Steeply pitched slate roof
to eaves. 2 storeys. North facade 4 windows wide. Left bay with double doors
to ground and upper floors. Square headed windows, casements, glazing bars.
2 bays to right with projecting single storeyed segmental brick-roofed tobacco
drying oven. Single iron water wheel attached to west face, no paddles. One
of two adjacent blocks situated on either wide of mill race.
