Substantial detached house. 1789 extended and altered. Stucco slate roof.
Central wing of 3 storeys. 3 windows wide, with 2-bay wing to either side
of almost equal height, 2 storeys plus basement. Central projecting solid
sided Greek Doric porch with columns in antis. 3 storeyed canted bay windows
to right and left; square headed windows, architraved; casements to ground
floor. Sashes above; glazing bars; ground floor window to wings pedimented;
wrought iron balconies to all ground floor windows. Cornice; parapet. Extensions
to left including advanced pedimented wing. Rear with central full height
semi-circular bay. Interior not inspected. London 2 South B Cherry and N
Pevsner.
