Drinking fountain. 1868. Portland stone. Gothic style. Square in plan
with gabled and pilastered sides; crowned by stone spire. Polygonal bowls
to 3 faces with bronze foliated water outlets. Brass plaque carrying date
and inscription recording erection in memeory of Joseph Toynbee Esq FRS.
