1907-8 by John Kelly. Romanesque style in red brick and terracotta. Arcaded
campanile with pyramidal roof, surmounted by a statue 6-bay nave. Chanced semi-
circular apse and ambulatory. A baptistry containing a freestanding stone structure
in the manner of a baldachino, octagonal in plan and having a sunken lower level for
total immersion plus an elevated upper level with a font for baptism by effusion.
The levels are reached by stone steps from the floor level of the baptistry and the
whole is in the prevailing Romanesque style.
