Early C18 house. Three storeys and basement. Five windows wide, brown brick, red
dressings. Tiled roof. Ground floor stuccoed and lined as ashlar. Modillion cornice.
Brick band above first floor. Small central pediment with carved enrichment (imported).
Doorcase with flat hood on carved consoles (imported). Square headed flush framed sash
windows. Wrought iron weather vane behind pediment. Brick piers with eaves in
front of ends of facade. House linked to Old Grange by small one-window addition.
Interior: panelling, staircase and fireplaces. (R.C.H.M. Middx. Vol.)
