Tennis Court Circa 1625 remodelled 1661 with C18 derestory windows in heightened wall.
Brick built with steep hipped tiled roof. Blind lower wall, with late C17 Portland
stone dressings. Above, continuous strip of glazing with narrow overlapping glass
panes, 10 full bays wide. Coved cornice above. Stone string course between windows
and lower wall. Gallery in front of windows. Interior a single tall space, with
aisles for viewing to south and east, the upper wall supported on timber Doric columns.
Timber boarded roof. Castellated Tudor range adjoins the Tennis Court to the south.
