Late C18 or early C19. Two houses with shops below. Whitewashed brick. Three
storeys to parapet concealing roof. Three bays to No 9, 2 bays to No 11. Square
headed sash windows retaining glazing bars to upper storeys. Ground storeys retain
Victorian shop fronts. No 9 has wide sash window with tiled panel below, and
carriageway to left retaining door with turned wooden screen.
