C18 mid and later (pair with No 56). Yellow brick with corbelled cornice at 3rd
floor. Stone coping, roof not visible. 4 storeys, 3 windows with gauged flat
arches. Recessed sashes with glazing bars. Wood shop front with fluted pilasters
and plain entablature. Vaulted and paved entrance corridor.

Nos 52 to 58 (even) Artillery Lane form a group with Nos 2 to 16 (consec) Artillery
Passage and with the bollards at the junction of the 2 streets.
