Late C17. Stock brick with red brick dressings and brick band. Upper floor partly
rebuilt with coped parapet. Tiled roof. 3 storeys and dormers. 3 windows, sashes
in cased frames with replaced glazing bars. Reproduction C18 shop front on ground
floor, door with radial fanlight. Panelled rooms on 1st floor. Upper part of
staircase is original. (RCHM)

St Mary's Church, the iron railings, gate and piers to the churchyard and the
statue of W E Gladstone and bollards form a focal group in the centre of Bow Road
and also group with Our Lady of St Catherine Roman Catholic Church and No 199
on the North Side of Bow Road.
