Bronze statue on round pedestal of polished red granite. Sculptor Albert Bruce-Joy.
Unveiled 1882.

St Mary's Church, the iron railings, gate and piers to the churchyard and the
statue of W E Gladstone and bollards form a focal group in the centre of Bow Road
and also group with Our Lady of St Catherine Roman Catholic Church and No 199
on the North Side of Bow Road.
