Early C19 pair of houses. Stock brick with narrow central recessed panel
extending full height of the houses. Hipped slate roof with wide eaves soffit
(bracketed). Stucco string course at 1st floor sill height and stuccoed basement.
3 storeys and basement, 2 sash windows each, those of ground and 1st floors
set in double segmental brick arches. Doorcases with stucco lintels and panelled
pilasters, doors have arched panels. Area railings with arrow head finials.

Nos 2 to 44 (even) and Nos 1 to 27 (odd) form a group with Nos 35 to 49 (consec)
Arnold Road and Nos 1 to 25 (consec) Tomlins Grove.
