Former Davenant School (Building adjoining No 15 to south)

C18. Formerly Davenant School now used as warehouse. Stock brick, slate roof
with broad gable end with simple brick cornice. Stepped turret above faced with
stucco, louvred openings. Facade to Davenant Street has central roundel above
stuccoed door surround (most of case now missing). 5 large windows stepped from
each side towards centre. Round headed with gothic glazing bars. One larger window
with segmental arch at north side. Brick band below gable. Side windows round
headed with gothic glazing bars.
