Circa 1720. Brown brick with red brick dressings. 3 storeys, basement and attic.
Parapet. Gauged flat arches to double hung sashes with flush frames, majority
with glazing bars. Additional blank windows on 1st and 2nd floors. No 7 has curved
wrougtht iron guards to basement windows. Single room deep with newel stair is
mediaeval plan type survival.
The road surface of Elder Street with Nos 1 to 23 (odd) and Nos 24 to 36
even form a group with Nos 9 and 10 and the road surface of Fleur de Lys
Street.
