Circa 1720. Brown brick with red brick dressings. 3 storeys, basement and dormers.
3 windows, (formerly 2 houses of 5 and 4 windows respectively - No 11 entrance
inserted later). No 11 later stucco ground floor; band above. Parapet. Tiled
roof. Segmental-headed arches to double hung sashes in flush frames with glazing
bars. Nos 9 and 13 have wood doorcases with rusticated Doric pilasters; triglyphs
and dentilled cornice. No 11 plain semi-circular headed doorway with fanlight
which has decorative glazing bars. Nos 9 and 11 have wrought iron railings with
finials. No 13 has curved wrought iron guards to basement windows.
The road surface of Elder Street with Nos 1 to 23 (odd) and Nos 24 to 36
even form a group with Nos 9 and 10 and the road surface of F1eur de Lys
