Mid/late C19 warehouse. Stock brick with blue brick dressings. Parapet, central
panelled, short tower feature above centre of Ellen Street facade. (Facades to
Forbes Street and Back Church Lane) 4 storeys and blank panels. 8 bays (2 door
ranks). Windows in round arched full height recesses. All windows with segmental
heads and glazing bars. Back Church Lane facade 20 bays, central tower as on
Ellen Street. Large brown marble doorcase with plain side pilasters and scroll
pediment. 8 panelled doors.

The Wool House forms a group with New Loom House and Chandlery House, Back Church Lane.
