The address shall be amended to read "Hydraulic Pumping Station" and
the description shall be amended to read as follows:

1886. Pumping Station to power hoists at the goods depot of the
Tilbury Docks Railway. Rectangular block of 3 by 4 bays and 3 storeys
in red brick with stone dressings, segmental window-arches of blue
engineering brick. Plain brick pilasters between upper windows. Square
tower at the west end, 4 storeys high, the whole bearing a slight
resemblance to an C18 church. Interior lined with brown glazed bricks
below, white glazed bricks above, steel truss roof. The main body was
the engine house, the tower housed the accumulators, the cylinder of
which remains in situ. The square base of the chimney remains at the
SW corner.

Small C19 warehouse, built in the form of a church. Red brick with blue brick
and white stone dressings. Slate roof. Western square tower of 4 storeys, main
part of 3 storeys. 4 windows, all segmental blue brick arches with white stone
blocks at impost height. All with glazing bars. Stone band at 2nd floor sill
height. Stone cornice and panelled blocking course. Brick pilasters between
2nd floor windows.
