1899. Red brick with brown brick and yellow stocks. Colours used to form geometric designs. Tiled roof with wide eaves soffit. Four storeys and dormers, thirty three windows including seven advanced single bays along facades which terminate in hipped roofs and carry chimneys on one side. First to third floor windows in recessed brick arches, dormers separated by rendered panels. All sashes with glazing bars except two ranks of casements. Ground and third floor windows with segmental arches. Inner facade to courtyard has interval angular and round towers. Rendered upper storey with gables, centre one has scalloped darker rendering and stuccoed brackets below Stucco dressings to some doors and tiled surrounds to others.

The Boundary Estate is an early LCC estate of advanced design for its period. It contains a variety of architectural details and its streets radiate from a central raised park in Arnold Circus. The entire estate forms a group.
