1899. Red brick with blue brick banding in gables. Tiled roof. 4 storeys and
double tier of dormers. 6 storeys under gables. 14 windows in all. Central gable
over 2, 4 light mullioned windows with stucco dressings on ground floor. String
course above. Square oriels with stuccoed bases, 1st to 3rd floor windows. Above,
arched windows with stuccoed tympana. Blank window 5th floor. Casements and
sashes with glazing bars. End gables have wide brick cornice above 3rd floor,
inner 3 bays have brick arches 1st to 3rd floors. Wide bracketed eaves soffit
above. Facade to Old Nichol Street, 4 storeys with double tier of dormers above,
4 windows width.
