Early C19. Yellow stock brick with stone cornices, parapets and plinth. Low pitch slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 storey bow windows on each side of a pilastered doorway with good Greek scrollwork. Plain reveals and glazing bars to sash windows. Plain interior.

The gate piers to the Childrens' Playground and All Saints Rectory, Newby Place, form a group with Nos 5 to 11 (consec) Mountague Place and Nos 1-3, 24 Bazely Street, Nos 45 to 51 (odd) and the Greenwich Pensioner Public House, Bazely Street, and All Saints with St Frideswide Church, the churchyard wall and gate piers, East India Dock Road.
