Limehouse Church Institute

Edwardian Baroque. Terracotta facade. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Ground floor has 2
light windows with pilasters between. Door with rusticated architrave and florid
segmental hood above with round window in place of fanlight. Above ground floor,
cornice and engaged pillars flank central, 3 light, window with segmental pediment
above. Flanking round windows. Central large segmental pediment. Eaves modillion
cornice and balustrades. Lettering in band below 1st floor windows.

The Limehouse Church Institute forms a group with No 2 and Nos 11 to 23 (odd)
Newell Street, the Garden Wall to former St Anne's Rectory, Limehouse Town Hall,
St Anne's Parish Church, Churchyard Walls, Railings, Gates and Gate Piers and the
War Memorial, Commercial Road.
