C18 with some C19 modifications. Terrace of 16 houses with large clock above
centre 2 houses. Stuccoed facades with parapets. Pantiled mansard roof. 3 storeys,
2 windows each, mostly sashes with some glazing bars. Facade panelled between
lst and 2nd floor windows, Ground floor has advanced shop fronts now mostly modern
but probably originally C19. Iron balustrades above shops except those of Nos
144 and 146.

Nos 138 to 174 (even) form a group with The London Hospital.
