Early C18. Painted brick. 3 storeys, basement and attic. 5 windows, centre
blank, under segmental arches. Flush framed sashes with glazing bars. Wooden
doorcase with flat fluted Doric pilasters, carved brackets and fine hood with
panelled soffit.

No 2 Wilkes Street forms part of a group with the Great Synagogue, Nos 1 to 39
(odd), Christchurch, and Nos 2 to 20 (even) Fournier Street, No 84 (The Ten Bells
Public House) Commercial Street and Nos 57 and 59 Brick Lane.
