Dated 1839. Built as St. Peter's Commercial School by the Church of England for
the education of poor children. one of the earliest examples of this type of school
and the first in the East End of London. Grey brick and white stucco. Norman style.
Gabled building. 2 storeys. 3 bays semi-circular stucco architraves to windows and
doors except central door. Brick pilasters between bays.
