Lock Cottage. Early C19, C20 alterations. Brick, with slate roof and gable
parapets with stone coping. 2 ridge stacks. Single storey, 4 bays. South front
has range of 4, 12-pane sashes with cambered arches, each with a pair of wooden
shutters. Plain doorway in west gable end wall. Small, C19 extension to east and
small C20 extention to west, both of brick, with slate roofs. Regent's Canal 1812-
20, constructed by James Morgan, supervised by John Nash.
