Gate Piers and Gates
at Carshalton House
TQ 2764 SE 20/157 16.3.54.
Early C18. Stone-fielded panelled piers with coved friezes, cornices, and pedestals
each surmounted by a lion's head with a fesse dancette murally crowned for Fellowes.
Original double fold carriage gates, modern overthrow.

Boundary Walls in Pound Street, Lodge to Carshalton House and gates and gate
piers to Carshalton House form a group.
