Island platform, pre-1869. Double colonnade of iron piers rising into spandrels.
These support wooden tie-beams of a wood and glass canopy. Canopy has deep fretted
valance and pedimented gable ends.
Integral waiting room of tongued and grooved timber with moulded architraves to
doors and sash windows. Prominent bracketed cornice above. High backed wooden
