Detached house. 1938. Designed by Connell, Ward and Lucas. Concrete frame, grey
brick and some stucco. 2 storeys. International modern idiom. Elevation to street
with continuous glazing to both floors returning to left. Garage and house entrances
recessed to right. Plain unmoulded doors. Semicircular stucco-protrusion to left
of entrance at ground floor level. Stuccoed strip between storeys continuing beyond
glazing to left to form balcony on left return. Protruding concrete roof slab; flat
roof. Balconied garden facade to left return. Interior not inspected.
