Terraced town house. 1736 with early C.19 alterations. Red brick,
slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and attic storey. 3 windows wide.
Doorway to right altered c.1800 with 6 panel door and side lights in
fluted frame with square angle steps and fanlight overall with
delicate ironwork. Recessed sashes under flat gauged arches except on
1st floor which has French casements. Brick cornice band over 2nd
floor, attic with stone coping to parapet. Early C.19 cast iron
balconettes to 1st floor. Wrought iron area railings with urn
finials. Interior retains some features of the 1730s: cornices,
mouldings,doors and 2 chimney pieces etc; the staircase, with an early
C.19 delicate iron balustrade probably moved to its present site as
late as 1925 and some sympathetic neo-Georgian work done at this time.
