Terraced house. 1730-32 with early C.19 alterations. Stucco faced,
slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 2 windows wide
with narrow slightly recessed 1930 extension over passage to left.
Square headed doorway to left with 6-panel door and rectangular
fanlight. Flat arched recessed glazing bar sashes. Parapet with
coping. 1st floor has early C.19 cast iron geometric pattern balcony.
Wrought iron area railings with urn finials. Largely altered interior
but with c.1800 timber geometric staircase. The house was the
residence of Mrs. Mary Pendarves (later Delaney), friend of Handel,
1733-41.
